If your MoneyMatch account is left inactive for a specified period of time, it will be declared dormant, and you will no longer be able to make new transfers.
Effectively, your account is considered dormant after 180 days of inactivity and thereafter where no valid transactions happen.
These processes are put in place to ensure we hold up these standards for the safety of genuine customers such as yourselves.
However, should you wish to remain active and create transactions in the future, you may reactivate your account by re-submitting your online or offline verification.
Here is a step by step guide on how to reactivate your dormant MoneyMatch account.
Personal Users
When your MoneyMatch account is nearing dormancy status, we will send you an email to notify you and prompt you to renew your eKYC verification. You should be prompted to re-submit your eKYC verification once you log in via the MoneyMatch App.
- 1. Select "KYC Status" and "OK" to re-submit your eKYC
- 2. Initiate the eKYC verification
For a step-by-step guide, see How can I verify my account?
- 3. Pending Approval
And you are done! It will take up to ONE (1) business day for your new application to be reviewed. If additional action is required, you will receive an email from mm.compliance@moneymatch.co.
Do ensure that you add either mm.compliance@moneymatch.co as your contacts to avoid important email correspondences ending up in SPAM.
Once you are eKYC verified again, you will be able to continue transacting on our platform.
Business Users
If you have not been transacting via MoneyMatch for quite some time, your account may have been declared as dormant.
Kindly reach out to your corporate account manager (CAM) to check on your MoneyMatch Account status. They will advise further on the requirements needed to reactivate your account.
