CNAPS (China National Advanced Payment System) code or 中国现代化支付系统号 / 大额行号 for the recipient bank is mandatory for all CNY transfers to China.
It is assigned to all banks in China, including foreign banks.
The CNAPS code is 12 digits long and may start with the code word C/N that identifies the Recipient Bank in China.
