There are two types of PINs you will manage:
a Mobile PIN (MPIN) for app security and a Card PIN (CPIN) for card transactions.
Setting Your PIN (Initial Activation)
- Register: Open the app and complete the self-service registration using your passport and mobile number
- e-KYC: Complete the identity verification (e-KYC) which includes a biometric and facial recognition test.
- Set Mobile PIN: You will be prompted to create a 6-digit Mobile PIN. This is used for logging into the app and authorizing sensitive actions like bill payments or bank transfers.
- Set Card PIN: Immediately after, you will set a 6-digit Card PIN. This is the "secret number" required for withdrawing cash at ATMs and performing retail purchases.
Changing Your PIN
You are advised to change your PIN regularly for security purposes.
- Via App Settings: You can update your PIN numbers directly inside the MoneyMatch Mobile Wallet App settings at any time.
Forgot PIN: If you forget your PIN or password, you can reset it within the app. For security, a one-time password (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile number to verify your identity before allowing a change.
